H-2B Liaison

The H-2B Liaison is responsible for providing on-site and operational support for High Hampton Inn’s H-2B seasonal workforce. This role serves as a primary point of contact for H-2B employees and supports arrivals, onboarding logistics, transportation coordination, employee housing operations, and ongoing employee needs throughout the season.

 

The position works closely with the HR Manager, HR Coordinator, recruiters, department leaders, and external partners to ensure H-2B employees are supported, compliant, and integrated into operations in alignment with High Hampton Inn standards.

                                                                                                     

Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

H-2B Program Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for H-2B employees throughout the season
  • Assist with arrival coordination, onboarding logistics, and orientation support in partnership with Human Resources
  • Provide guidance to H-2B employees regarding schedules, workplace expectations, and property navigation
  • Communicate employee concerns, issues, or updates to Human Resources in a timely manner
  • Support H-2B compliance efforts through coordination, documentation support, and appropriate escalation

 

Employee Housing Coordination

  • Support daily operations related to employee housing assignments, move-ins, move-outs, and room turnover
  • Serve as an on-site contact for employee housing-related questions and concerns
  • Monitor housing conditions and report maintenance or safety issues to appropriate departments
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Property Operations, and Human Resources as needed

 

Human Resources & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the HR team during peak onboarding periods
  • Assist with orientation preparation, document collection, and general administrative tasks
  • Support HR office coverage on scheduled on-site days, particularly during early-season onboarding

 

Transportation & Logistics

  • Provide transportation support for H-2B employees as required based on program needs
  • Coordinate transportation for appointments, errands, and other off-property needs as assigned
  • Adjust transportation responsibilities as program needs evolve

 

Employee Support & Engagement

  • Assist with cultural integration and promote a positive employee experience
  • Serve as a resource for general questions and escalate concerns outside the scope of the role
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and culturally sensitive communication at all times

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet company driving requirements
  •  Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work environment includes office settings, on-property activity, and off-property coordination
  • May require outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Schedule may vary based on seasonal program needs, including arrivals, departures, and onboarding days
  • Must be able to operate a company vehicle and perform duties safely
