Where Shadows Walk : Historic Sylva Ghost ToursDate: August 16, 2017 Time: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Historic Jackson County CourthouseEvent Description
Bathed in the looming shadow of the most photographed court house in North Carolina, Sylva, North Carolina’s Where Shadows Walk, Historic Ghost Tour begins. As the shades of night are drawn, so too are the guests of Sylva’s Historic Ghost Tour drawn into tales of bloody duels, gruesome family feuds, men who finish prayers at their own funerals, witches, mystic stones, visits from God and the Devil, hangings and decapitations, visits from famous scientists and inventors, American Presidents and famous outlaws. Guests will stare into the windows of haunted homes, stroll the most spirit-filled stretch of railroad track in America, walk the broken, ancient sidewalks and back streets of the only town and county in America to be named for the reckless and wild Andrew Jackson and a drifter nobody ever really knew. Sylva’s WSW Historic Ghost Tour will paint, for her guests, horror and heyday, history and just enough Hell to never forget the tiny town nestled in the misty, mystic Southern Appalachian Mountains, a town filled with screams, moans and rattling, prison chains, a town of ghosts.
