Evensong Service with St. John's Choir

All are warmly invited to choral Evensong at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM.

Evensong is a centuries-old Anglican service of evening prayer, sung almost entirely by the choir. Scripture, psalms, and canticles are interwoven with choral music, creating a space for reflection, prayer, and rest at the close of the day. The congregation is invited to listen prayerfully as the choir offers praise on behalf of all.

This service will feature music by composers including Thomas Tallis, Morten Lauridsen, and Kinley Lange, representing both the historic roots and living tradition of choral Evensong.

Whether you are new to this tradition or have long loved Evensong, you are welcome here. The service is free of charge and open to all.
