DESCRIPTION:The Watershed Association of the Tuckasegee River (WATR) is hosting a Picnic in the Park on June 20th from 11am to 2pm at Dillsboro's Monteith Park. The picnic is open to all-- stop by to learn more about WATR\, share your interests and concerns about our watershed\, check out newly-installed signs on the nature trail\, and join a native plant walk with Bigelow's Botanical Excursions. There will also be a brief member vote on two amendments to our bylaws.\n\nWATR will provide hotdogs and fixings. Feel free to bring a dish\, side\, or beverage to share if you'd like!\n\n \n\nWant to get your feet wet? Come by an hour earlier at 10am to help pull invasive plants from the trails. Hope to see you there!
