DESCRIPTION:In this one day workshop\, kids will create original short performances using Dr. Seuss stories. The group will explore operative and power words of a script and "VISA-POP"\, an acronym for various vocal techniques. This class has an emphasis on performance and is a brief introduction to text work for the youngest performers. This workshop is meant to coincide with a JCPS Teacher Work Day and provide families with a fun and active alternative on this no-school day. Students should bring their own lunch and an additional snack.
