SCC Class- Fine Woodworking Handtools I

Brian Bartel, a master woodcrafter from Sylva will be leading a variety of classes in the coming months for those who would like to learn the art of fine woodworking.
Hand Tools I is a basic course on the use and maintenance of the basic tools of fine wood workers. You will learn to identify, sharpen and use a variety of chisels, planes, scrapers, and handsaws. You will discover that all of these tools can be obtained rather inexpensively and you will not need to invest in power tools to maintain them. This course is designed for a small group and will offer lots of hands-on attention from the instructor. Self-Supporting. Cost: $40
