SCC Class - Demystifying the Guitar

Event Description
Southwestern Community College offers Demystifying the Guitar. This 4-week class will give you a fundamental system that allows you to teach yourself to play the guitar.
Wendell McRae will introduce the novice guitar player to open and closed guitar. Students will get hands on experience in everything from history of guitar relating to the mountains, tuning and slide chords to picking styles. Students should bring their own instrument. Self-Supporting.
The class is offered at the SCC-Swain Center each Monday from 1/30 thru 2/20 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. The cost is $46
