A local fabric artist, Valerie Halvorson, will be introducing some basics for modern quilting. Paper piecing with fabric, tubing, making points for stars without stress, , fancy patterns and continuous pleats, and more. Learn some valuable skills to make wearable art and have more fun with fabric. Self-Supporting. Cost: $25
