The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee and the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department will present a series of six presentations throughout the summer on topics related to nature in the Tuckasegee region and surrounding area. The presentations will be held at 6:30 pm in the Jackson County Public Library's Community Room located at 310 Kenner Street in Sylva. Paul Carlson, with the LTLT, will present "Conserving the Natural and Cultural Histories of the Southern Blue Ridge" on August 28, 2014.
